Jim Minnick

Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder

Jim oversees eVestment's long-term strategic direction and key business initiatives. Prior to founding eVestment, Jim was a consultant with Watson Wyatt in Atlanta, where he was actively involved in leading the firm's efforts to provide consulting services to the investment management community and in the publication of topical research. Jim also assisted clients in the areas of investment manager research, investment manager evaluation, and the coordination of manager searches. Prior to Watson Wyatt, Jim worked in various roles with First Data Corporation and Bank of America. Jim holds a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University and an MBA in Finance from Emory University, where he graduated Beta Gamma Sigma and received the Wall Street Journal Award in Finance. Jim also has completed Levels I & II towards the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Heath Wilson

Co-Founder

Heath oversees eVestment's international business including operations in Europe, Asia and Australia and is closely involved in product development efforts and the company’s strategic direction. Prior to founding eVestment, Heath was an Assistant Consultant with Watson Wyatt. He provided analytical support with asset allocation studies and investment policy planning, manager searches and performance evaluation. In addition, Heath was involved with servicing many of the firm's largest multi-national clients including overseeing the coordination and delivery of performance evaluation reports. Prior to joining Watson Wyatt, Heath was an Assistant Trader with the Chicago Partnership Board in Chicago, where he initiated and executed transactions involving limited partnership units. Heath holds a BS in Finance from the University of Tennessee.

Matt Crisp

Chief Operating Officer, Co-Founder

Matt oversees eVestment's service organization which includes client service, product management and data management and services. He has been extensively involved in the global expansion of eVestment's efforts into the European, Asian and Australian marketplaces. Additionally, he is involved in the strategic direction of the organization to grow eVestment into one of the leading investment technology organizations in the world. Matt holds a BS in Finance and an MBA in Corporate Finance from East Carolina University. He has completed Levels I and II toward the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute. Matt has also completed Level I towards the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Program for Leadership Development (PLD).

Tom Williams

Chief Financial Officer

Tom leads all of the finance, accounting, treasury, human resources and administrative functions within the organization. Prior to joining eVestment, Tom was a senior executive and the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of several industry leading technology companies, both public and private. Most recently, Tom was the CFO of CypherTrust, Inc., a leader in messaging security and portfolio investment of Battery Ventures and Greylock Partners. Prior to CypherTrust's sale to Secure Computing Corporation for $300 million, Tom helped ready the company for its initial public offering (IPO) with financial leadership and Sarbanes-Oxley implementation. As the former CFO of publicly-held Indus International, Inc., a leader in asset management software, Tom assisted in the company's financial turnaround, leading to its sale to Vista Equity Partners for $240 million. Additionally, he was the CFO of publicly-held Manhattan Associates, joining Manhattan soon after its IPO, and helped the company become a leader in supply chain optimizations software. Tom started his career with Ernst & Young in Atlanta and progressed to senior financial roles with Sterling Commerce, Inc. and Sterling Software, Inc. He is a Certified Public Accountant with BBA and MBA degrees from Georgia State University.

Mitchell Johnson

Chief Technology Officer

Mitchell leads all aspects of global technology service fulfillment for eVestment. He participates as a member of the senior management team in the governance processes of the organization's new product roadmap, architecture, telecommunications, networks, applications, media, and corporate IT infrastructure and oversees the execution of technology initiatives in support of the business goals and priorities set by the organization. Prior to joining eVestment, Mitchell held a variety of positions at Equifax in product management, mergers and acquisitions, and technology. As Vice President of Technology, Mitchell led a team that developed and maintained internet solutions for a global, business-to-consumer business unit. Prior to Equifax, Mitchell worked in various managerial and technical roles for the Enterprise Technology practice at Hitachi Consulting and Delta Air Lines. He has a range of Information Technology experience including architecture, strategy, development, operations and business-technology alignment. Mitchell holds a BA in Management Science and a certificate in Information Systems from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Emory University, where he graduated Beta Gamma Sigma and received the faculty award for Organization and Management.

Kathy Jaques

Chief Marketing Officer

Kathy JaquesKathy leads the marketing efforts for eVestment including media relations, sales enablement, branding, and demand generation.  Prior to joining eVestment, Kathy was a senior marketing executive of several high-growth technology providers including SecureWorks (acquired by Dell), Identitech (acquired by eiStream), Boole & Babbage (acquired by BMC) and others.  Most recently, Kathy led marketing for SecureWorks – helping to grow the company exponentially.  SecureWorks came to be regarded by industry analysts as the leader in managed security services and was frequently featured in the WSJ, USA Today, NY Times, etc. for its insight into evolving security threats during Kathy’s tenure.  Having launched 20+ technology products to market, Kathy brings unique skills to ensure that the eVestment solutions are on the short list for consideration.  She holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a BA in English from Indiana University.

Jerrod Stoller

Global Head of Sales

Jerrod StollerJerrod directs the sales and business development activities of the organization globally. Before joining eVestment, Jerrod was the Regional Manager of RSA, the Security Division of EMC, a premier global provider of security and compliance technology, where he directed company performance into triple-digit growth during several of his years in leadership. Prior to RSA, Jerrod led the account management and business development efforts for Datalex Transportation Enterprise Software, Siemens Business Services, and TransQuest Business Consulting. Jerrod began his career as a Business Consultant for NCR in Dayton, Ohio, and he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University.

Matt Robison

Global Head of Services

Matt Robison leads all aspects of the Global Service organization for eVestment. Prior to joining eVestment, Matt began his career as a Portfolio Accountant with INVESCO Institutional, an institutional asset management serving clients via operations in the US, London, and Hong Kong. He provided operational support through portfolio performance reporting, asset reconciliation, cash transfers and trade settlements. Matt holds a BA in Business Administration from Rhodes College and an MBA from Georgia State University. Matt is a candidate for the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential and has completed Level I towards the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.

Gene Luciani

General Counsel

Gene LucianiGene leads all of the legal initiatives for the organization and is involved in eVestment Alliance's corporate development. Gene began his career in Atlanta with Andersen Tate & Carr, P.C. It was there that he was introduced to the principal founders of eVestment Alliance and advised eVestment Alliance from its foundation through its growth and expansion. Prior to joining eVestment, Gene was a partner at Andersen, Tate & Carr, P.C. focusing on representing technology, start-up and growth stage companies. Most recently, Gene served as the General Counsel and Vice President of Highwinds, a worldwide content delivery and network services firm based in Florida. Gene, named a Georgia Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine and Atlanta Magazine from 2007-2009, holds a JD from the University of Georgia School of Law and a BA in Economics and History from the College of William and Mary.

Christophe Frèrebeau

Head of EMEA

Christophe oversees operation of eVestment in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Christophe was the founder and CEO of Fundspire, acquired by eVestment in 2012 and brings a great entrepreneurial spirit and strong leadership to the eVestment organization. The Fundspire product leveraged Christophe's technology expertise to design, build and bring to the market a revolutionary product for hedge fund investors. Before founding Fundspire, Christophe had been working at Accenture in the Custom Solution Architecture Group. He led multi-national teams in designing and implementing large-scale, custom technology solutions for Finance, Insurance and Health Care Fortune 500 companies. Christophe has a Master's of Engineering from Telecom ParisTech (formerly Telecom Paris).
