eVestment and several other top Atlanta-area employers participated in the Association for Talent Development’s (ATD) Employee Learning Week recently, and were recognized by Georgia Governor Nathan Deal as Champions of Learning as a result. At the Georgia statehouse, eVestment Director of Training Michele Shauf (second from the right) met with the Governor and representatives from other companies that participated in Employee Learning Week.
This year, Employee Learning Week ran from December 5 through 9. The annual awareness campaign highlights the important connection between learning and achieving organizational results. ATD recruited top Atlanta- and Georgia-based companies to participate in raising awareness of the importance of corporate training in motivating employees and preparing them for rewarding careers at their companies.
At eVestment, Employee Learning Week included a variety of short events and workshops aimed at teaching employees new things and inspiring them to seek out new information and learning opportunities at eVestment and outside the company. Events included a public speaking seminar, a variety of fitness seminars and classes, a cooking and food tasting class and a goal-setting seminar.
Dozens of eVestment participated in the event, closing out 2016 and kicking off 2017 with a better understanding of the training and education options eVestment offers. To learn more about eVestment’s work culture, internal training programs and see open career opportunities, please click here.
