eVestment Named on Great Place to Work® 2015 Best Small & Medium Workplaces List

October 21, 2015, Atlanta – eVestment, the global leader in institutional investor data and analytics, was named by Great Place to Work® as one of the best workplaces in the United States on their annual 2015 Best Small & Medium Workplaces list, published today in Fortunemagazine.

Ranked in the medium category at No. 15, this is the first time eVestment has received this honor. Divided into two categories, small (25-250 employees) and medium (251-999 employees), the list has recognized companies with exceptional workplace cultures for the past 11 years. eVestment has approximately 350 employees worldwide.

Competing against hundreds of companies across the country, eVestment participated in a rigorous selection process, which included an employee survey and an in-depth questionnaire about benefits programs and company practices. Great Place to Work® evaluates each application using its unique methodology based on five dimensions of a great workplace: credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie.

In compiling the list, Great Place to Work® has found that employees believe they work for great organizations when they consistently trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do and enjoy the people they work with.

“When we founded eVestment, we set out to do two things: revolutionize data and analytics in the institutional investment community and create the kind of workplace all of us would love coming to everyday,” said eVestment co-founder and CEO Jim Minnick. “Our growth indicates we’re achieving the first goal and this ranking is one more indication that we’re achieving the second. Being a great workplace is a deliberate choice and it’s something you have to work on every day. The choice we made to build a unique, fun and innovative culture has allowed us to attract and retain amazingly talented people and this Great Place to Work recognition is one more piece of evidence that we’re doing the right things.”

Benefits and employee-centric practices at the company include unlimited paid time off (PTO); events like an annual business meeting and holiday party where all employees gather in Atlanta, raft-racing outings and fitness challenges; and promoting from within and creating new opportunities to keep employees engaged.
