One of the top equity traders at Soros Fund Management is leaving the firm.
Financial Times reported that Robert Donald, who is a portfolio manager at SFM's London office, is set to leave by the end of the year. The reason for Donald's departure was not disclosed.
The article also said that Donald, who joined the firm in 2009, is widely regarded as one of the leading equity traders in the U.K. He specializes in trading industrial companies and basic materials.
Currently a $24 billion family office, SFM returned all outside capital last July to avoid reporting requirements under the Dodd-Frank Act.
