A trader at hedge fund firm Armajaro Asset Management has passed away.
Bloomberg reported that Ben Steele, who joined London-based Armajaro last year to start a pool of trading shares of financial companies, died on January 25. No additional details were provided regarding Steele's death.
Prior to joining Armajaro in May, Steel was a co-portfolio manager at New York-based hedge fund TT International.
Founded in 2002 by Anthony Ward, Armajaro manages about $2 billion in assets.
