The head of alternatives at investment manager F&C Investments is said to be leaving the firm next month.
Investment Week reported that Ken Kinsey-Quick, who joined London-based F&C in 2003, will be replaced by Ben Fox. Fox was the founder and fund manager at London-based Goodhart Partners.
The article also said that F&C announced plans to close Kinsey-Quick’s multi-strategy hedge fund last month, following a year of underperformance in 2011.The fund will return capital to investors later this month.
Founded in 1972, F&C’s investments include hedge funds and fund of hedge funds, as well equities and bonds.
