Two senior executives at Goldman Sachs Investment Partners’ hedge fund unit are departing, according to a Bloomberg Businessweek report.
Managing director Daniel Dreyfus left the New York-based firm last month while vice president Paul Margiotta will leave his position later this month. No additional information was disclosed regarding the departures.
Dreyfus, who joined Goldman Sachs in 2000, ran the firm’s investments in natural resources department. Margiotta rejoined Goldman in 2008 having previously worked at the firm from 2003 to 2006.
Incepted in 2008, GSIP was established to allow clients to invest with some of the firm’s top proprietary traders.
