Maples Fiduciary Services announced Monday that it has launched an in-house operational due diligence group.
Maples said in a statement that the new unit is head Romona Bowry, who recently joined the firm as its senior vice president. Bowry has more than ten years of experience in risk management and the provision of fiduciary services to investment funds.
The new unit will be responsible for reporting findings to Maples’ directors in order to assist the board with overseeing the fund and its service providers.
Affiliated with fund administrator Maples Fund Services, the duo’s umbrella company MaplesFS has offices across the glove, including New York, Cayman Islands, Hong Kong and Dublin.
