One of the best-performing hedge fund firms in Hong Kong has hired the chief operating officer of Expedition Advisors.
Reuters reported that as Double Haven’s new chief operating officer, Kam Bahra will be responsible for supporting the growing investor interest in the firm’s credit funds.
Previously, Bahra worked at Expedition, a hedge fund that was launched last year with seeding from New York-based Protégé Partners. Prior to Expedition, he was at the Hong Kong office at Japan-based Sparx Group. Double Haven spun out of Sparx in 2011.
Double Haven doubled its AuM last year to more than $400 million.
