Chicago-based investment advisory firm SG Capital Management has appointed a new senior managing director.
In a statement released Monday, SG Capital announced that Ethan Steinberg is working alongside SG founding partners Ken Grossman and Glen Schneider in generating ideas with the equity analyst team and portfolio management. Steinberg’s new position has been effective since April 5.
Prior to joining SG, Steinberg spent 16 years at Friess Associates in various roles. He spent the last five years managing his own investment team at the firm in addition to assisting the chief investment officer with overseeing an entire portfolio.
Founded in 2002, SG Capital manages about $372 million in assets.
