New York-based hedge fund technology provider Gravitas announced Tuesday that increasing demands for its services has prompted the firm to expand its India office.
Gravitas’ India expansion includes moving to a larger office space in Mumbai to accommodate its growing team for the region’s 70 employees, which is up 110% from a year ago. Gravitas expects to make additional hires in the next several months.
The firm saw its revenues increase by 50% last year, which was also when it implemented its cloud-based computing system,
Founded in 1996, Gravitas provides cloud technology, collaborative outsourcing, risk support and research to the alternative investment industry. It has additional offices in Chicago, Greenwich and Ahmedabad, India.
