Software development firm DataArt announced Thursday that it has launched a free Form PF software to ease the filing process for hedge fund managers.
Features of the new software include data validation, report sharing between multiple users, records of past filings and intuitive and user-friendly application, according to a statement from the firm.
Form PF is a 42-page document that private investment firms must file with the Securities and Exchange Commission that makes transparent detailed aspects of each fund they advise.
Oleg Komissarov, the senior vice president at DataArt, said that the new application is the first of its line of complimentary solutions to help firms “overcome regulation requirements and optimize the cost of compliance reporting.” Komissarov added that the firm will release other applications in response to other reporting requirements, including the AIFMD which is set to pass in July.
DataArt caters to a broad spectrum of clients, including those in the financial services, healthcare and hospitality industries.
