Billionaire hedge fund manager John Paulson has listed one of his properties for sale.
Bloomberg reported that Paulson, the president of New York-based Paulson & Co., is looking to sell one of his mansions in Aspen, Colorado for $29.9 million. The listing price is 22% higher than what he bought the property for in 2010.
The article said that Paulson is selling the property because he is moving to Star Ranch, the 90-acre property he bought from Saudi prince Bandar bin Sultan for $49 million last year.
Paulson rose to fame after making $3.7 billion in 2007 by short-selling subprime mortgages. Paulson & Co. currently manages approximately $18 billion in in assets, down from its $36 billion AuM in 2010.
