Chicago banking giant Northern Trust’s hedge fund administration unit is the latest firm to launch an online platform that will ease the Form PF filing process for fund managers.
Northern announced in a statement Monday that using a combination of technology, consultative support, and data aggregation, the new module will provide an interactive platform for compiling, reviewing, and finalizing Form PF filings.
Form PF is a 42-page document that private investment firms must file with the Securities and Exchange Commission that makes transparent detailed aspects of each fund they advise. eVestment
reported last week that software development firm DataArt announced Thursday that it has launched a free Form PF software also aimed to simplify the filing process for hedge fund managers.
As of March 31, 2013, Northern Trust had $5 trillion in assets under custody of $5 trillion, and assets under investment management of $810.2 billion.
