100 Women in Hedge Funds announced Tuesday the ten recipients of its third annual “100 Women in Hedge Funds/CAIA Scholars” initiative.
In conjunction with Pacific Alternative Asset Management Company and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Foundation, 100WHF Association Board Chair Mimi Drake said that "this year's class of scholars exemplifies 100WHF's dedication to professional initiatives and educational programming within the alternative investment industry."
The recipients include New York-based Bristol Investment Group's Sarah Colvin, Connecticut-based Matarin Capit Management's Nili Gilbert, and the Kaiser Family Foundation's Lisa Scheible.
Each scholarship, which has a value of more than $5,000, covers enrollment and registration fees for CAIA Level I and Level II exams, the CAIA Knowledge Series textbooks from Wiley Publishing and Institutional Investor, the Schweser CAIA Level I Premium Instruction Study Solution, and a one-year membership in the CAIA Association.
100WHF was formed in 2001 to organize various activities throughout the year that fit its three-pronged mission: education, philanthropy and peer leadership. It has raised nearly $30 million for various charities.
