The long/short equity hedge fund firm started by former Citigroup director Joel Salomon last year has hired a chief financial officer.
New York-based SaLaurMor Capital announced Wednesday that Anat Leon has joined the firm from ISP Financial Trading, a proprietary trading division of a boutique investment operation.
With nearly a decade of investment industry experience under her belt, Leon was the chief financial officer at investment management firm, The Dragon Variation Fund, where she managed all aspects of finance, control, administration and investor relations.
In her new role, Leon said that she will focus on ensuring that SaLaurMor has an “efficient back-office function, along with providing investors with full transparency.”
Based in New York, SaLaurMor was named for Salomon’s two daughters, Lauren and Morgan.
