Founder and co-managing director of SkyBridge Capital Anthony Scaramucci is looking to raise $4 million to launch a Manhattan eatery that will cater to hedge fund and private equity professionals.
Bloomberg reported that Scaramucci has teamed up with restaurateur Eytan Sugarman and Morgan Stanley executive David Barrett to open The Hunt and Fish Club in December.
The restaurant, which will be located in Midtown Manhattan, will have the feel of an “elite clubhouse” where young professionals in the financial industry with “high to extremely-high disposable income” can gather and “made to feel special and privileged.”
Investors in the eatery will get 30% of the total equity and receive 80% of all distributions until those payments equal the amount of the initial investment. Investors are expected to get back their initial investment in two to three years.
Scaramucci, who launched SkyBridge in 2005, is best known as the man behind the SkyBridge Alternatives Conference (SALT), which is the largest conference in the hedge fund industry.
