French hedge fund firm Lyxor Asset Management announced Tuesday that it has appointed Gilbert Tse as head of Asia.
Based in Hong Kong, Tse will be responsible for coordinating Lyxor’s businesses in Asia with a focus on Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Korea. Tse will also work to strengthen the firm’s relationship with its joint venture in China, Fortune SG Fund Management.
Lyxor also said in the statement that the replacement for Tse, who was previously the executive vice general manager of Fortune SG, will be announced soon.
Lyxor, a subsidiary of French bank Societe Generale, manages approximately $97.8 billion in assets.
