The chairman who recently quit his post at French hedge fund firm Lyxor Asset Management is set to join financial analysis and index firm MSCI in August.
Financial News reported that Alain Dubois, who has been with Lyxor for 10 years, will be responsible for developing and expanding MSCI’s index offering in his new role as head of new business and product development.
Prior to joining Lyxor, Dubois worked in Societe Generale's equity derivatives division. Lyxor is a subsidiary of French bank Societe Generale.
MSCI, which is a Morgan Stanley spin-off, is best known for its international stock indexes.
