Simple Alternatives, an alternative mutual fund company that focuses on providing investors access to hedge fund managers, announced that it has added two managers as advisors to one of its funds.
In a statement released Monday, Simple Alternatives said that Bruce Garelick of Garelick Capital Partners and Alexander Fodor of Sonica Capital will serve as sub advisors to its multi-manager, long/short equity mutual fund.
Garelick, the founder of Boston-based long/short equity fund Garelick Capital, previously managed the long/short equity technology portfolio at Adage Capital Management.
Prior to founding New York-based Sonica Capital in 2008, Fodor worked at Maverical Capital spin-off Izara Capital Management.
Based in Connecticut, Simple Alternatives focuses on liquid alternative strategies.
