Commonfund Capital has promoted a 15-year veteran of the firm to president.
Donald Pascal, who succeeds Susan Carter in his new role, said in a statement released through the Connecticut-based investment firm that he will be responsible for continuing to “advance the mission of Commonfund Capital, and as a result, offer clients the opportunities and strategies to help them reach their investment objectives.”
Carter will retain her role as chief executive officer of Commonfund, as well as maintain overall strategic leadership of the group.
Prior to joining Commonfund in 1998, Pascal worked at various private equity firms, including Victory Ventures, Noel Group and The Prospect Group.
Founded in 1971, Commonfund manages over $25 billion in assets for clients. It is known for managing money for nonprofit organizations, pension funds and academic endowments.
