Blackstone Group announced Monday that it has bolstered its technology advisory practice on the West Coast by relocating one of its senior executives to its California office.
Sean Madnani, the senior managing director of Blackstone Advisory Partners, will work out of the firm’s Menlo Park office and lead its technology mergers and acquisitions practice on the West Coast and Asia.
Since joining Blackstone in 2005, Madnani has provided advisory services to clients in a number of technology, media, and telecommunications-related transactions.
Blackstone's technology advisory arm has advised on more than 50 technology transactions totaling more than $30 billion. The world’s largest alternative asset management firm, Blackstone has total assets under management of $159 billion. It deals in both hedge funds and private equity.
