Activist investor and hedge fund manager Carl Icahn will make his next big reveal through Twitter.
According to a CNBC report, Icahn told hedge fund manager Karen Finerman, who is also a CNBC contributor, that he will announce his next big investment idea on the social network.
The article added that while the timing of the reveal was not disclosed, the idea will be unveiled like a “treasure hunt” where hints will be given first.
eVestment reported that Icahn, known for being an outspoken investor, first joined Twitter last month and his first tweet was in reference to his investment in computer giant Dell. Icahn, who significantly increased his stake in Dell, is opposing a management buyout of Dell.
Icahn returned outside money for his firm, Icahn Capital Management, in 2011 to focus on investing his own funds.
