Andrew Stone, the CEO of soft commodity trading giant Armajaro Trading, has resigned after just seven months at the post.
Bloomberg reported that Richard Gower, the co-founder of Armajaro Holdings which also owns London-based hedge fund firm Armajaro Asset Management, will replace Stone as the head honcho. Stone took over the CEO role on January 14 from Gower who previously held the title.
Stone’s plan after departure was not disclosed.
Founded in 1988, Armajaro Holdings’ asset management division manages seven hedge funds.
