A prime brokerage executive at Morgan Stanley recently passed away following a 16-month battle with leiomyosarcoma, which is a rare type of cancer.
Bloomberg reported that David Brenneman, 37, died on August 31 in a Manhattan hospital. He stopped working in mid-July when he underwent his final surgery for the illness.
Brenneman, who was formerly a lawyer before embarking on the world of finance, specialized in prime brokerage at Morgan Stanley where he worked out of the firm’s New York City office.
Brenneman is survived by his wife Mina and three kids, Williams, Alexander and Margaret.
