New York-based auditing firm Rothstein Kass announced in a statement Tuesday that its co-CEO and principal-in-charge has been appointed treasurer of hedge fund advocacy group Managed Funds Association.
Howard Altman will serve a one-year term as a member of MFA’s board of directors, which is the third consecutive year he has been elected treasurer to the organization. MFA is responsible for advocating sound industry practices on behalf of the hedge fund industry and its investors.
