Krusen Capital Management has hired two new senior executives as the hedge fund firm is in the process of expanding its alternatives solutions platform.
HedgeWeek reported that Jeffrey Volk has joined the New York-based firm as chief operating officer, while David Martin is the new senior risk advisor. As part of the management committee, Volk and Martin are responsible for overseeing Krusen Capital’s operational and risk management process.
Volk was most recently a senior manager at Citibank, where he was managed the bank’s fixed income and equities business. A veteran in the financial industry, Martin’s professional experience includes PricewaterhouseCoopers, AllianceBernstein and Dublin Fund Distributers. At Dublin Fund, Martin served as its chief investment officer and managed a fund of hedge funds.
Founded in 2009, Krusen Capital offers investors access to hedge funds, fund of hedge funds and private equity funds.
