Hedge fund manager Dan Shak is set to host the annual charity poker event he co-founded on Thursday night.
Shak, the founder of SHK Asset Management, will host the “All In for Kids” poker tournament, which will be filmed for national television as part of a future World Poker Tour broadcast.
Some of the attendees will include notable names in the finance industry, as well as athletes and celebrities.
Proceeds from the event, which has raised more than $4.3 million in the last five years, will go toward the Pediatric Palliative Care Program—an organization that aims to help children recover from life-threatening diseases.
