The co-head of Deutsche Bank’s hedge fund servicing unit is departing after 15 years at the firm.
The New York Post reported that Jon Hitchon, who is expected to leave the German bank in the next several months, will be replaced by Murray Roos. Roos, who is co-head of European equities at Deutsche, will work with Barry Bausano to jointly manage the unit, known as Markets Prime Finance.
The future plans of Hitchon, described by Deutsche head of equities Garth Ritchie as “instrumental” in building out the bank’s derivatives unit under the regulatory confinements of Dodd-Frank, was not disclosed.
