Dallas-based hedge fund firm Highland Capital Management announced Tuesday the promotion of one of its employees to head of institutional sales and marketing.
In Jess Larsen’s new role, he will be responsible for business development and managing institutional relationships around the world. Prior to his promotion, Larsen was a managing director and head of business development in Europe.
Prior to joining Highland last year, Larsen was the director of capital introductions at Bank of America Merill Lynch in London. Earlier in his career, Larsen worked at hedge fund firms VCM Fund Management and Range Capital.
Founded in 1993 by Jim Dondero and Mark Okada, Highland manages approximately $18 billion in assets.
