MKP Capital Management announced Wednesday that it has hired former Goldman Sachs employee David Perez as a managing director and senior portfolio manager.
The New York-based hedge fund firm said in a statement that Perez will be responsible for focusing on global equity markets within MKP’s macro strategies in his new role.
Perez spent 14 years at Goldman Sachs where he most recently served as its managing director on the equity derivatives trading desk. Prior to that, he was based in the bank’s London office, where he focused on global equity and options markets.
With an additional office in London, MKP has over $8.5 billion in assets under management.
