Alternative investment firm GrizzlyRock Capital has expanded its management team through the hires of industry veterans Chris Ricciardi and Doug Laux.
Chicago-based GrizzlyRock announced through a statement Tuesday that Chris Ricciardi will join the firm as managing partner and head of business development, while Doug Laux is the new chief financial officer. The pair will work with GrizzlyRock founder Kyle Mowery and vice president of investment research Saidal Mohmand in their new roles.
With more than eight years of experience in the alternative investment space, Ricciardi was most recently the director of strategic relationships at Altegris Investments. He also co-founded commodity trading advisor Herron Capital Management earlier in his career.
Laux spent two decades at Ernst & Young in Chicago, where he was partner for nine years.
Founded last year, GrizzlyRock focuses on the credit and equity markets.
