Twin Capital Management has named a new vice president and co-portfolio manager of its event-driven/special situations strategy.
The New York-based hedge fund firm announced in statement released Thursday that Michael Hogan has returned to Twin Capital to co-manage the event-driven/special situations fund with senior vice president Brett Patelsky, as well as founder and CEO David Simon. Hogan previously served as the vice president of Twin for three years, where he was responsible for identifying, analyzing and investing in event-driven situations across industries in the U.S., U.K. and Western Europe.
Hogan was most recently the co-portfolio manager of special situation strategies for Guggenheim Global Trading, where he oversaw an event-driven portfolio.
Founded in 1988, Twin Capital manages approximately $1.06 billion in assets.
