Paul Ferrarese, the head of municipal-bond institutional sales at Goldman Sachs & Co., is joining a hedge fund firm.
The Wall Street Journal reported that in Ferrarese’s new role as head of business development at Whitehaven Asset Management, he will be responsible for finding new investors for the firm and managing existing ones. Ferrarese will also help Whitehaven founder Scott Richman with investment decisions.
Prior to Goldman Sachs, 21-year industry veteran Ferrarese worked at investment banking giants Merrill Lynch and Citigroup.
Launched last year, Whitehaven manages about $31 million in assets with an additional $4 million in commitments.
