Swiss bank UBS has reportedly recruited former Citadel executive Andy Kolinsky for its U.S. market making unit.
Reuters reported that Kolinsky will be responsible for heading sales for the division out of Chicago.
Kolinsky was previously the head of Chicago-based Citadel’s execution unit, which was responsible for connecting broker dealers to exchanges and dark pools. Prior to Citadel, he was a managing director at Knight Capital Group.
UBS employs about 60,000 people around the world and has offices in more than 50 countries.
