Australia-based AMP Capital has hired Kate Campbell as the institutional director of the asset management firm’s Europe business.
AMP announced last week that Campbell will be responsible for developing the firm’s European institutional client business alongside Louisa Yeoman, the institutional director of the firm’s U.K. business, in her new role.
Specifically, Campbell will focus on working with clients such as pension funds, insurers, private banks and multi managers to fundraise for AMP’s recently-launched UCITS platform and unlisted infrastructure business.
Campbell was most recently the executive director in JPMorgan’s capital introduction unit, where she assisted more than 300 hedge funds with their market strategies.
With additional offices in New York, Chicago, London, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Beijing, Tokyo, Delhi, Bahrain and Kuala Lumpur, AMP currently manages approximately $131 billion in assets.
