Jeffrey Gundlach’s DoubleLine Capital continues to expand through the addition of two institutional sales representatives and an open-end mutual funds operations specialist.
The Los Angeles-based fixed-income firm announced in a statement Monday that Gheorghe Rotar, Jr. has joined DoubleLine as a mutual fund operations specialist, while Christopher Von Bargen and Frederick Schachinger are part of its institutional marketing unit.
In his new role, Rotar is responsible for overseeing transfer-agent functions for DoubleLine funds. He joined DoubeLine from Newport Beach-based Pacific Investment Management Company, where he most recently served as a supervisor in its funds operations department.
Von Bargen, who is now a sales representative responsible for institutions located in the Southeastern U.S., was previously a vice president at PNC Capital Advisors. Schachinger comes to DoubleLine from Deutsche Asset Management in New York where he was the team lead for Pension, Foundation and Endowment Sales.
Formed in 2009, DoubleLine manages approximately $50 billion.
